Chapbook vs poetry book

A chapbook is short, usually 20 to 40 pages and one focused sequence; a full poetry collection is 50 pages and up and asks to be lived with. The chapbook is often a first book, a bridge or an experiment; the collection is the larger statement.

Which you have

Count the pages and feel the coherence. If it is under about forty-eight pages and reads as one movement, it is a chapbook, and it wants the chapbook route. If it is longer and gathers several concerns, it is a collection. On the physical limit that draws the line, see how big a chapbook is.
